Our Land Publications are designed to provide an organized curriculum core with which textbooks and other sources may be used as supplements. Thorough Comprehensive Teacher's Manuals support the programs.

As textbook supplements
Our Land Publications are not "dumbed down"! Rather, key subject matter is included, but expressed in simpler terms and focussed on those events most critical to the study. Use in detail those portions of the textbook (and other sources) that correspond to key events in the Our Land Publication.
At various grade levels
As Activity Sheets
Each issue provides at least one activity, project, or exercise that may be used to expand the lessons or as a textbook supplement.

Each issue provides at least one activity, project, or exercise that may be used to expand the lessons or as a textbook supplement.
The newspaper style lessons and bite-size explanations provide excellent reading assignments. Discussion topics ("Reaction Time") at the conclusion of each issue may be assigned for written responses. Supplemental reading, biographies, for instance, may be used as dual purpose language arts and social studies lessons. Vocabulary boxes are included with the study as well.
In classes with students of highly diverse learning aptitude, Our Land Publications provide interesting and rewarding extra-credit study material for those more gifted.
Our Land Publications express key subject matter in simpler terms ideal for any student whose vocabulary is limited or is experiencing other learning handicaps. (See Special Ed. or ESL.)
Our Land Publications provide readable, interesting and rewarding study material for lower grade students who are reading above grade level. The activities, discussion topics, and other resources may be used to expand their study interests as well. This is especially valuable when gifted students are studying with those at grade level. (They do not become so bored or distracted when teaching is focussed on slower learners.)
